Forum: prelinger Subject: World War II ?

there is a 10 DVD set (30 hours) called "The Complete History of World War II. There is a copyright notice on the packaging but it makes reference to the general copyright terms and not the material contained on the DVD. There is no copyright notices whatsoever that appear on the screen. There are no end credits designating a copyright and no opening credits with any kind of copyright. there is also no mention of who is narrating, who produced it, directed it, edited it, etc. or anything at all. All of the material on these DVDs comes from none other than public domain materials. Is this perchance the re-edited and/or remastered World At War Series AKA Eisenhower's Campaign In Europe, that was involved in the Daystar/Fox lawsuit of a few years ago in which Fox lost that case? I've checked the copyright office and other sources and this program under this title, let alone it's distributor does not come up in any database as showing it is copyrighted. Anyone who may have any knowleged about this program or any additional information will be greatly appreciated.
